EPROM is providing Technical Services to support Commissioning, Start up, Initial Operations and Maintenance activities at Warri Refining & Petrochemicals Company (WRPC) since 2024.

  • Location: Warri, Delta State, Nigeria
  • Ownership: WRPC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)
  • Capacity: WRPC is a complex conversion refinery with a nameplate distillation capacity of 125,000 barrels per day.
  • Focus: Refining the Crude Oil to produce various petroleum products. like Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) (Gasoline), Kerosene (Household Kerosene), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) (diesel), and Fuel Oil. The refinery complex includes a Petro-Chemicals plant.

Plant Description

Warri Refining & Petrochemicals Company (WRPC) began operations in 1978. The refinery underwent a Quick-Fix Project targeting to ensure optimal and Sustainable operational.

In December 2024, NNPC has announced that: Warri Plant Resumes Operation.

Key Activities

EPROM is designated to support the ongoing Commissioning, start up and Initial Operations activities at WRPC. This includes the following scope:

  • Support Power Plant units (PPU) operations
  • Support Commissioning and Initial Start up activities for Process units
  • Technical support on new projects
