EPROM manages the SCADA systems project, representing the owner and ensuring efficient, reliable, and safe pipeline operations. This includes supervising the installation of monitoring and control systems on pipelines, warehouses, and pumping stations, integrating them with existing control systems, and installing a highly accurate leak detection system on the pipelines.

Description

The project is considered one of the digital transformation projects, and includes the establishment of a communications network along the longest pipeline network in Egypt. Which aims to monitor and control transportation networks, raise the efficiency of payment and receipt operations, safe operation of lines and warehouses, and identify the locations of fractures and leaks in the event of their occurrence and quickly control them.

Key Activities

EPROM manages the project and represents the owner of the SCADA systems, also central supervision and facilitation of efficient, reliable and safe operation of pipelines. In addition, EPROM directly supervises:

  • Installation of the monitoring and control system on the lines, warehouses and pumping stations.
  • Interconnection with the existing control systems of the various pumping stations.
  • Installation of a leak detection system on the lines with high accuracy.
