Description
Misr Fertilizers Production Company “MOPCO” is the largest nitrogen fertilizer plant in the Arab Republic of Egypt. It was established in 1998 within the Damietta Public Free Zone on an area of 400,000 square meters, with a capital exceeding two and a half billion Egyptian pounds.
MOPCO specializes in the production of urea as a basic product and ammonia as an intermediate product using advanced technology that achieves the highest levels of product quality, safety, and environmental protection that are in line with the requirements of international standards of ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, MOPCO works to manage its operations responsibly and is keen on continuous development in all its work, especially in the field of health, safety, security and environment.
Key Activities
EPROM carried out the replacement of the old boiler (54 tons) with a new boiler (64.6 tons). The new boiler was prepared, then the old boiler was lifted and tilted using two cranes and then transported to the scrap area. Then the new boiler was lifted to the operating site and installed on its concrete base.
