Plant Description

The Cairo Oil Refining Company (CORC) is a major petroleum refining facility located in Mostorod, Cairo, Egypt. It’s a subsidiary of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and plays a crucial role in meeting Egypt’s domestic demand for refined petroleum products. CORC has been a significant contributor to Egypt’s energy sector for decades, refining crude oil into various products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, and butane. The company has undergone modernization efforts to improve its efficiency and capacity, ensuring a reliable supply of petroleum products to the Egyptian market

Key Activities

3D Laser Modelling Project EPROM is implementing scanning and providing smart 3D models of production units and facilities at the company’s sites in Mostorod and Tanta. This project is accompanied by digitizing several types of engineering drawings and creating an electronic digital technical library for all project-related documents. This model contributes to improving the efficiency and sustainability of projects, and supports the implementation of the ministry’s directives for digital transformation in companies.
