TOT Program by IFPT France at EPROM Premises

Under the framework of the Human Resources Development Program in the Petroleum Sector, the Training of Trainers (TOT) program was launched, which is implemented by the sector in cooperation with the specialized French company (IFPT) affiliated with the French Petroleum Institute. It includes a group of distinguished workers in the sector to qualify them as training cadres accredited by (IFPT) to hold specialized training programs in operation of petroleum refineries, in addition to training a number of operations engineers on modern refining technologies.

The program launch was attended by Eng. Alaa Hagar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for the Technical Office, Eng. Mohamed Badr, ANOPC Chairman and CEO, and Eng. Hossam Asaad, EPROM Chairman and CEO.

The new program comes as an important step within the framework of an ambitious program to build the operational capabilities of newly graduated engineers and technicians in Upper Egypt, which is a pioneering experience provided by the petroleum sector for comprehensive training and qualification for young graduates from Upper Egypt by building the capabilities, skills and experiences that qualify them to carry out the operation and maintenance work of the diesel production complex at Assiut National Oil Processing Company (ANOPC) within its social responsibility in Upper Egypt, while it is a new source of trained and qualified workers from Upper Egypt to work in the oil and gas industry.

The human capacity building program in Upper Egypt is implemented by a group of specialized Egyptian and international companies. ENNPI designs and implements basic skills programs in the English language, computer, basics of health, safety, environment, and personal skills. DNV International provides specific training programs on occupational safety, health, environment, and methods of maintenance, reliability, quality, asset management, and process safety plans.
