In line with EPROM’s efforts to implement the Ministry’s strategic vision of expanding the activities of Egyptian petroleum sector companies in foreign markets and enhancing their global competitiveness, EPROM has successfully added new projects to its record of achievements in the oil refining sector in Nigeria.
Eng. Hossam Asaad, EPROM Chairman & CEO, signed a new contract with the Nigerian company Netco, the engineering arm of the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation. This contract covers the provision of technical services for pre-commissioning and initial operation of the Wori refinery, with a production capacity of 125,000 barrels per day, and the Kaduna refinery, with a production capacity of 110,000 barrels per day. Additionally, it includes the second phase of the Port Harcourt refinery, with a production capacity of 150,000 barrels per day.
The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the EGYPES conference and was attended by Eng. Salah Abdel Karim, EGPC CEO, Eng. Hossam Asaad, EPROM Chairman & CEO, and Dr. Tony Alagba, CEO of Nigerian Netco.
This significant achievement has sparked widespread celebration in popular, political, and media circles in Nigeria. It has also prompted the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation and Netco to enhance their cooperation with EPROM and assign additional projects to the company in Nigerian refineries.
Eng. Hossam Asaad, EPROM Chairman & CEO, stated that EPROM is committed to implementing its ambitious strategy to expand into foreign markets, following its successes in local projects. He emphasized that the company possesses the competencies and expertise required to compete with major international companies in the fields of operation and maintenance of refineries and petrochemical plants.
He further added that EPROM, which has established its leadership in the Egyptian market over the past two decades, is now well-positioned to consolidate its status regionally and globally. He noted that the interest of major international companies in collaborating with EPROM reflects the high level of confidence the company enjoys. He also expressed confidence that EPROM’s expertise, combined with the support of petroleum sector leaders, will enable the company to achieve its goals and create new achievements that benefit the company, its employees, and the Egyptian petroleum sector.
إيبروم توقع عقد تقديم الخدمات الفنية لاختبارات ما قبل التشغيل والتشغيل الأولي لمعامل التكرير في نيجيريا
استمرارًا لجهودها في تنفيذ الرؤية الاستراتيجية للوزارة ، بشأن توسيع أنشطة شركات قطاع البترول المصري في الأسواق الخارجية وتعزيز قدرتها التنافسية عالميًا، نجحت شركة إيبروم في إضافة مشروعات جديدة إلى سجل إنجازاتها في قطاع تكرير النفط بدولة نيجيريا.
وفي هذا الإطار، وقع المهندس/ حسام أسعد – رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة إيبروم والعضو المنتدب – عقدًا جديدًا مع شركة نيتكو النيجيرية، الذراع الهندسي لهيئة البترول النيجيرية، لتقديم الخدمات الفنية لاختبارات ما قبل التشغيل والتشغيل الأولي لمعامل التكرير ووري بطاقة إنتاجية 125,000 برميل يوميًا، وكادونا بطاقة إنتاجية 110,000 برميل يوميًا، بالإضافة إلى المرحلة الثانية من معمل تكرير بورت هاركورت بطاقة إنتاجية 150,000 برميل يوميًا.
وقد جرت مراسم توقيع العقد الجديد على هامش فعاليات مؤتمر “إيجيبس”، بحضور كل من: السيد المهندس / صلاح عبد الكريم – الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول والمهندس / حسام أسعد رئيس مجلس الإدارة والعضو المنتدب لشركة إيبروم والسيد الدكتور/ تونيي ألاجبا الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة نيتكو النيجيرية.
وقد أثار هذا الإنجاز الكبير احتفاءً واسعًا في الأوساط الشعبية والسياسية والإعلامية في نيجيريا، الأمر الذي دفع هيئة البترول النيجيرية وشركة نيتكو إلى تعزيز التعاون مع إيبروم وإسناد المزيد من المشروعات إليها في معامل التكرير النيجيرية.
وفي هذا السياق، صرح المهندس/ حسام أسعد – رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة إيبروم والعضو المنتدب – بأن إيبروم ماضية في تنفيذ استراتيجيتها الطموحة للتوسع في الأسواق الخارجية، بعد النجاحات التي حققتها في المشروعات المحلية، مؤكدًا أن الشركة تمتلك من الكفاءات والخبرات ما يؤهلها لمنافسة كبرى الشركات العالمية في مجالي التشغيل والصيانة لمعامل التكرير ومصانع البتروكيماويات.
وأضاف أن إيبروم، التي فرضت ريادتها على السوق المصري خلال العقدين الماضيين، أصبحت اليوم مؤهلة لترسيخ مكانتها إقليميًا وعالميًا، مشيرًا إلى أن إقبال كبريات الشركات العالمية على التعاون مع إيبروم يعكس حجم الثقة التي تحظى بها الشركة. كما أعرب عن ثقته في أن خبرات إيبروم، إلى جانب دعم قيادات قطاع البترول، كفيلان بتحقيق الأهداف المرجوة، وكتابة صفحة جديدة من الإنجازات التي تعود بالنفع على الشركة والعاملين بها وقطاع البترول المصري
