In line with the directives of H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and the Ministry’s vision to encourage Egyptian petroleum sector companies to expand their foreign operations, EPROM has successfully signed its first significant foreign contract. During the Mediterranean Offshore Conference (MOC) in Alexandria, EPROM, led by Chairman and CEO Eng. Hossam Asaad, formalized a partnership with the Nigerian company NETCO to provide various technical services.
The contract was signed at EPROM’s headquarters in the Petroleum Complex in Alexandria, witnessed by Eng. Salah Abdel Karim, Chairman of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), Eng. Hossam Asaad, EPROM Chairman and CEO, Mr. Alexandro, Director of Refining Plants at the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation, and a delegation from NETCO. This collaboration marks a strengthened partnership between Egypt and Nigeria in the petroleum sector, paving the way for EPROM to enter both the Nigerian and broader African markets.
The cooperation program included a visit by the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation’s officials and a delegation from NETCO to the MIDOR refinery, where they were received by Eng. Salah Gaber, MIDOR Chairman & CEO, and representatives from both companies. The Nigerian delegation commended the collaboration spirit between EPROM and MIDOR teams, EPROM’s operational efficiency, and adherence to the highest international standards in occupational safety and health.
This contract represents a milestone in EPROM’s strategic expansion plan, aiming to extend its services regionally and globally. EPROM is committed to advancing its initiatives with careful and deliberate efforts, leveraging its distinguished expertise and skilled technical workforce, supported by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
إيبروم تغزو الأسواق العالمية وتقتنص أولى عقودها الخارجية في قلب إفريقيا بدولة نيجيريا
تنفيذاً لتوجيهات السيد المهندس كريم بدوي/ وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية، وتماشياً مع الرؤية الطموحة لوزارة البترول التي تشجع شركات قطاع البترول المصري على التوسع في أعمالها الخارجية، نجحت الشركة المصرية لتشغيل وصيانة المشروعات (إيبروم) على هامش أعمال مؤتمر موك بالإسكندرية في توقيع عقد هام مع شركة “نيتكو” النيجيرية لتقديم الخدمات الفنية المختلفة.
وقد تم توقيع العقد في مقر شركة إيبروم بمجمع البترول بالإسكندرية، بحضور السيد المهندس/ صلاح عبد الكريم رئيس الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول، و المهندس/ حسام أسعد رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة إيبروم والسيد/ أليكساندرو مدير معامل التكرير بهيئة البترول النيجيرية ووفد من شركة نيتكو النيجيرية. ويأتي هذا التعاون الجديد في إطار تعزيز علاقات الشراكة بين مصر ونيجيريا في قطاع البترول، ويفتح المجال أمام شركة إيبروم للدخول بقوة إلى السوق النيجيرية والأفريقية على السواء.
وقد شمل برنامج التعاون زيارة مسؤول هيئة البترول النيجيرية ووفد شركة نيتكو لمعمل تكرير ميدور، حيث استقبلهم المهندس/ صلاح جابر رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة ميدور وعدد من مسؤولي الشركتين.
و أشاد الوفد النيجيري بروح التعاون بين فريقي إيبروم وميدور، وكفاءة التشغيل ومستوى أداء شركة إيبروم بمشروع ميدور وتطبيقها لأعلى المعايير العالمية في السلامة والصحة المهنية .
ويعد هذا العقد أولى الخطوات الناجحة في مسيرة إيبروم نحو التوسع في الأسواق الخارجية، حيث وضعت شركة إيبروم لنفسها خطة طموحة للتوسع في تقديم خدماتها إقليمياً وعالمياً، وتسعى لتنفيذها بخطوات ثابتة ومدروسة من خلال استثمار وتوظيف الخبرات المتميزة والكوادر الفنية المؤهلة داخل الشركة، تحت رعاية ودعم وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية والهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول.
