EPROM Celebrates 11 Engineers Certified as International Trainers Under the Supervision of the Ministry of Petroleum

As part of EPROM’s ongoing commitment to professional development and technical excellence, we are proud to celebrate the achievement of 11 of our engineers who have successfully earned the Train of Trainers (ToT) certification from IFPT (Institut Français du Pétrole Training) — a globally recognized institution in energy and industrial training.

This achievement is one of the key outcomes of the Human Resources Development Program of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, which aims to build a new generation of certified technical trainers in refinery operations and modern technologies, in collaboration with leading international training providers.

The ToT program was launched and implemented under the framework of the Ministry’s national initiative, in cooperation with IFPT and under the direct supervision of ANOPC. The year-long program selected a distinguished group of engineers from across the petroleum sector, resulting in the certification of 11 trainees — including 8 from EPROM — as internationally accredited trainers by IFPT.

The certification ceremony will be held on 23 June in the presence of esteemed leaders:

• Eng. Hossam Asaad, Chairman & CEO of EPROM
• Eng. Mohamed Badr, Chairman & CEO of ANOPC

The ToT program plays a vital role in qualifying trainers to deliver specialized programs in petroleum refinery operations, and forms a strategic pillar in Egypt’s efforts to localize technical expertise — particularly among young graduates and engineers from Upper Egypt.

This program also aligns with EPROM’s commitment to operational readiness, following the company’s Operation and Maintenance contract for ANOPC’s refinery in Assiut, ensuring that well-trained national talent is in place to deliver high-performance services in refining operations.

Our newly certified trainers will:

1. Deliver impactful internal training programs within EPROM and the wider sector
2. Support knowledge transfer and performance excellence across departments
3. Play an essential role in mentoring and developing new technical talent, especially in Upper Egypt

This achievement reaffirms EPROM’s position as a regional leader in technical services, and reflects our long-standing belief that human capital is the true driver of sustainable growth and success in the energy industry.
