On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, Mr. Francesco Caspari, General Manager of Eni Egypt (IEOC), accompanied by Eng. Tharwat El Gendy, Chairman of Agiba Petroleum Company, and Eng. Hossam Asaad, Chairman of EPROM, conducted an inspection visit to Agiba’s fields in the Western Desert. The visit aimed to assess the implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring continued achievement of high rates of safe working hours, a cornerstone of the company’s operational strategy. The inspection also aimed to confirm the availability of production requirements and the efficiency of communication systems between various entities within the fields to address challenges and maximize production.
The visit included the natural gas processing plant, where EPROM oversees operations and maintenance, as well as the water treatment plant. Mr. Francesco Caspari emphasized the critical importance of safety and the continuous improvement of safety measures as a top priority. He highlighted the efforts to embed a safety culture and safe working practices among employees, stressing that safeguarding workers is the primary priority. He also praised the development of Agiba’s fields in recent years and commended the strong partnership between Agiba and EPROM as key contributors to Eni’s success.
Eng. Tharwat El Gendy pointed out that the achievements at Agiba’s fields were not easy, describing them as a significant leap resulting from great efforts that are a source of pride. He commended the spirit of collaboration among the field operators, which has sustained and increased production levels while enabling the team to overcome challenges through diligent work and the adoption of innovative and shared visions. He affirmed that all Agiba employees are on a critical mission to further develop the fields and boost productivity.
Eng. Hossam Asaad expressed his pride in EPROM’s distinguished performance, which has contributed to the development and stabilization of the gas processing plant, leading to record-breaking production levels. He noted that EPROM, with its diverse expertise across refinery operations, petrochemical plants, and gas stations, coupled with its flexible organizational structure, is well-positioned to expand its business and secure new projects both domestically and internationally.
Also present during the inspection from IEOC were Mr. Paolo Bini, Mr. David Lombardi, Mr. Alessandro Caschili, and Mr. Mahmoud Abou El Yazed. From Agiba, attendees included Eng. Tarek Badawy, Agiba’s Operations Manager, Eng. Medhat Arafah, Fields Manager, and several senior leaders from Agiba and EPROM.

يوم الثلاثاء 8/10/2024 قام السيد فرانشيسكو كاسبارى مدير عام شركة إينى بمصر (أيوك) يرافقه المهندس ثروت الجندى رئيس شركة عجيبة للبترول والمهندس حسام أسعد رئيس شركة إيبروم بزيارة تفقدية لحقول عجيبة بالصحراء الغربية للوقوف على ما يتم تطبيقه من معايير السلامة والصحة المهنية وحماية البيئة بهدف الاستمرار في تحقيق معدلات عالية من ساعات العمل الآمنة باعتبارها أحد الركائز الأساسية لاستراتيجية العمل كذلك للتأكد من توافر جميع متطلبات الإنتاج وكفائه وسائل التواصل والإتصال بين جميع الجهات داخل الحقول للوصول لمواجهة التحديات وتحقيق أعلى معدلات الإنتاج للحقول حيث شملت الزيارة محطة معالجة الغاز الطبيعي والتي تتولى إيبروم فيها أعمال التشغيل والصيانة ومحطة معالجة المياه.
حيث أكد السيد فرانشيسكو كاسبارى على أن السلامة أمر مهم جدآ والعمل على تحسينها باستمرار هي من الأولويات وشدد على أهمية ما يتم من تأصيل ثقافة السلامة والعمل الآمن لدى العاملين والحفاظ عليهم كأولوية أولى كذلك فقد أشاد بالتطوير الذى شهدته حقول عجيبة خلال السنوات القليلة السابقة كما أثنى على التعاون بين عجيبة وإيبروم باعتبارهم شركاء نجاح لشركة إينى.
وأوضح المهندس ثروت الجندى أن ما تحقق في حقول عجيبة لم يكن سهلاً فهو طفرة وراءها مجهودات كبيرة بذلت تستدعى الفخر واشاد بروح التعاون بين القائمين على تشغيل الحقول الأمر الذى حافظ على استدامة الإنتاج وزيادته، كما خلق القدرة للتغلب على التحديات من خلال العمل الدؤوب وطرح رؤى مشتركة ومبتكرة لمواجهة التحديات وأكد أن جميع العاملين في شركة عجيبة في مهمة كبيرة من أجل التطوير وتنمية الحقول وزيادة إنتاجيتها.
وأوضح المهندس حسام أسعد أنه فخور بما تقدمة إيبروم من مستوى أداء متميز ساهم في تطوير محطة معالجة الغاز وإستقرارها ورفع إنتاجها لمستويات قياسية لم تحدث من قبل، كما أوضح أن إيبروم بما تملكه من خبرات متراكمة ومتنوعة بين مشروعات التشغيل والصيانة لمعامل التكرير ومصانع البتروكيماويات ومحطات الغاز وكذلك إمتلاكها لهيكل تنظيمي مرن فإنها قادرة على توسيع نطاق أعمالها والحصول على مشروعات جديدة داخل وخارج مصر.
حضر الزيارة التفقدية من شركة أيوك السيد باولو بينى والسيد ديفيد لومباردى والسيد إليساندرو كاسشيلى والسيد محمود أبو اليزيد ومن شركة عجيبة المهندس طارق بدوى مدير عمليات عجيبة والمهندس مدحت عرفه مدير الحقول وعدد كبير من قيادات شركتي عجيبة وإيبروم.
